To complete a portrait to the best of my ability I need a high resolution photograph taken in natural lighting. Several supporting photos always help with colours, features and personality. Photo quality is extremely important, the more detail I can see in the photo the more detail I can draw. If the photo is too blurry or pixelated I will ask for a higher quality photo.

Send me your best photos and any other important information e.g. size and colour preference, if you need the artwork by a certain date, items or subjects to remove or add in. I will get back to you with size and price options that would work best for your chosen reference photo.

If you have more than one subject but want them together I can merge multiple photos together, depending on the quality, angle and lighting in the photos.

Once we have come up with a plan I ask for a 50% non refundable deposit, this secures your space in my waitlist and gives me a solid timeline. The balance is due after completion of the artwork prior to shipping

Completion time depends on how many orders I have on my wait list at the time. Quite often there is a 3 - 6 month wait list, especially at the end of the year towards Christmas. If you have a birthday, wedding or anniversary coming up that you are hoping to have it ready by get in touch sooner rather than later to make sure I can get it done in time for the big event!
